This G Plan Sideboard has been given a Murphy Makeover and is now the talking piece of any room.
 
The black base and legs with little gold feet emulates other pieces in the G Plan range and is now instantly recognisable as a Mid Century Classic.
 
The inside of this sideboard is pristine. It has been cleaned and sanded and waxed with the divine smelling Wise Owl Furniture Salve. Not only is it nourished, it smells incredible.
 
The adjustable shelving inside sits on gold supports and has been given a simple black strip to compliment the exterior design.
 
The drawers have also been cleaned, sanded and salved and the top drawer has the extra detail of the cool linen paint with the original dividers.
 
Externally the two doors have been given an ultra modern facelift with the new Made by Murphy stencil created in association with Stencil Up.  The stencil is the Geo Lattice.
 
This stencil is comprised of various Fusion Mineral Paint colours- all complimenting each other magnificently. Bayberry, Linen, Coal Black and Plaster create a fun and funky feel to this super useful sideboard.
 
The teak wood shines through the stencil giving it extra depth. The top has been rid of its old varnish and renewed with 2 coats of Osmo Oil in Satin, fading into a fine stripe design at the back.
 
The drawers have also been given a new lease of life with Osmo oil and the handles have been cleaned and resprayed in gold to ensure they gleam and really make the piece come alive.
 
This sideboard can be used as storage for a variety of items with its 3 large drawers and 2 large cupboards- a perfect centrepiece for any vintage furniture enthusiast.
