This beautiful round Art Deco display cabinet has been lovingly reimagined and given an oriental twist.
 
The full focus is given to the stunning fire retardant velvet fabric on the back.
 
This fabric is a Made by Murphy design created in association with Stella Alexander Art.
 
Stella is an incredible artist and together we have created the most sumptuous lotus fabrics.

This cabinet displays the gold version- the depth of colour and the beautiful birds are maximised by the use of metal gold leaf around the inside of the cabinet.
 
The outside of the cabinet has been sanded back to bare wood, before giving it a simple design of a gold pinstripe and a black border. This means that whatever angle you view it from, there is something to feast your eyes on.
 
Three glass shelves allow for ample storage of whatever you choose to display- drinks, shoes or glasses would be my choice.
 
The cabinet stands proud on 4 beautifully shaped legs and would be a real talking point in any home
 
.As with all vintage furniture, the cabinet shows signs of its previous life, but this adds to the story and character of this 1940s and does not affect its use.
