“Envy”
 
The very first piece in “M The Exclusive Collection”. She has been a vision in my head for some time and I’m so pleased I’ve finally been able to create her.
 
She is a dark beauty with a touch of pure class, she’s been completely transformed from top to bottom and from the inside out.
This MCM Nathan sideboard has been sanded back and the top, middle drawer and shelves have been stained a rich dark brown which compliments her almost black/green body.
 
The shelves have been gilded in 24ct gold which is a stunning contrast to her deep wood tones.
 
Envy has 2 shelved cupboards on each side. The backs have been decoupaged in this fantastic quality floral paper which matches the front design.
 
Open the middle section and you will find the most incredible drinks cabinet.
 
The full back of this section has been covered in 24ct gold leaf. The added mirrors not only add to the shine, but provide functionality and protection when preparing drinks.
 
There is rechargeable usb motion sensor light which will light up as you pull down the bureau section.
 
The cabinet section also sports the floral design and gold trimmed shelf to tie in with the rest of the piece.
 
When all compartments are tucked away she is still just as beautiful.
The broken floral design across the squares is surrounded by gold, highlighting the design further.

This gold on this section is a base of gold leaf wax and a top coat of empire gold wax to create the perfect match to the other gold highlights across the furniture.
 
The drawers which sit just above a sheen of real gold, have been painted in a deep plum to match the inside doors of the cabinet. They too have been decoupaged, both to protect them, but also to finish off the look.
 
The original handles have been updated with 3 different golds to catch the light perfectly from any angle.
 
The stunning retro legs have also been gilded in 24ct gold to really highlight their shape and beautiful craftsmanship.
 
This is a quality item of furniture and it is built to last.

The transformation into a luxury drinks cabinet has been completed with the upmost care and attention.
 
 
What is The Exclusive Collection?
 
- luxury materials such as 24ct gold. Many refinishers including myself, use gold leaf in their creations. Usually this is an imitation gold, The Exclusive Collection will only use real gold.

- Completely hand painted. There will be no use of rollers, applicators or sprayers.

- Full transformations- completely individual to the piece.

- Completely exclusive- the design will never be recreated by myself. All items I produce are bespoke and unique. However I am often asked to recreate previous designs. I will usually find a similar piece of furniture and create something with a likeness to a previous item. This collection will not be recreated. This collection is exclusive and you shall not see this design from me again- guaranteed! Or your money back.
